On the scanner

For the last two days, there’s been a lot of talk on the scanner. Mainly plow drivers and law enforcement talking about how the highways are — the drifting, the stuck cars, the accidents, the blowing, and of course, snow.

Sunday, we all heard about how some woman in her car was apparently taking photos out her windshield at the snow that was flying past her from a plow, basically a snow cloud. Comment from the driver was to the effect of “I saw the strangest thing I’ve ever seen while plowing...probably somebody from the paper.” I can assure you that we didn’t have anyone out on the highways shooting the blowing and drifting snow Sunday. Must have been a big fan of snow.
