I'm a Tweeter. Or is it Tweeterer?

I did something Tuesday I had never done before. I tweeted. The Independent has officially joined the world of Twitter and Facebook, where you can see select stories that are published in the newspaper. The Independent will post a minimum of two items per day on these sites, but you can expect more — five, six, maybe seven news and sports items each day. We’ll also have calendar events posted there. Someday down the line we could even post things on our Twitter account that happen on-the-spot, like a crash or a fire, that we can download from our cell phones. Technology is ever-changing and the newspaper industry has to keep up with the times. That’s why I did something Tuesday I thought I’d never do.
