Greece is the word

May 18, 2010 - Karin Elton
My sister, Robin, is going to spend two weeks in Greece in June. A family friend of hers wants a travel buddy so the friend is paying for everything. My sister will just need pocket money and she will use the last of her husband’s frequent flyer miles.

Sweet deal. This isn’t the first time Robin has been somewhere fabulous at little expense to her. Friends wanted a nanny for their children while they traveled in India. Robin’s personality is what gets her the gigs as nanny and travel buddy. Not annoying. That’s a biggie when you are traveling with someone.

My other sisters and I call her the camp director because she is good at planning the day out — where to eat etc. Kind of takes charge. Which is good otherwise you might dither the day away.

Maybe she can solve the Greek monetary crisis while she’s there.
