| | Corn on the cobAugust 18, 2010 - Cindy VotrubaI was a little late in getting corn on the cob this year as Ross and I picked a few ears from his parents' field on Saturday. His folks were having a family reunion of sorts with his mother's brother, wife and three of their kids and their kids. They have a tradition with exchanging white elephant gifts. Some were actually good gifts — an electronics set, peppercorns, a white blanket. Then there was the plunger and a flower pot and the egg timer shaped like an actual egg. Back to the corn. I microwaved a couple of ears. They were OK, but I probably should've gotten them earlier. Article CommentsNo comments posted for this article. Post a Comment | in: News, Blogs & Events Web |
