Looney tunes

Nov. 4 Marshall Commmunity Services is offering a class on “Minnesota’s Loons.” “Find out little known facts about one of Minnesota’s best known state symbols.”

Yeah, that might be kind of interesting, but I would like to know more about “Minnesota’s Loons” — as in crazy as a loon. That would be fun. Someone could show photos and talk about the various nut cases who have lived here.

The first settlers were rather loony to have stayed past fall here. They qualify as loony.
