Top o' the morning to you

They are already drinking in Savannah, Ga. The Associated Press reports that people are celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with a big parade and “some bars plan to begin pouring at 7 a.m. Thursday.”

Wow. Who could drink beer at 7 a.m.? By 9 a.m. you’d be ready to call it a day and the parade doesn’t start until 10.

I don’t even think I could drink an Irish coffee that early in the morning. Actually, I have had a mimosa in the mid-morning when I was in San Francisco, but that tasted like mostly orange juice.
