| | Rated "S"August 26, 2011 - Karin EltonI learned a new word today: “salubrious.” I saw the word in the This Day in History column where an American general informs Congress that the state of Georgia is a valuable asset. Among the reasons were the “salubrious climate.” To me, the word sounded strange in that context.
