Biblically speaking

I received an e-mail from GSN (formerly known as the Game Show Network) about a new game show it is promoting called The American Bible Challenge. Redneck-loving comedian Jeff Foxworthy will be the host, quizzing people on their knowledge of the Bible.

That could get interesting. I’m going to watch to see if any vicious arguments break out. People have been fighting over the Bible for eons. I wonder if there will be any questions such as “According to the Bible, God created the Earth and its inhabitants in six days. Literal or Figurative?”

I wonder if Foxworthy will do an opening monologue with Bible references: “You know you’re a Philistine when...”
