Life's little adventures

June 8, 2009 - Cindy Votruba
I still haven’t gotten my camera back from Utah...hopefully this Glenn character has put it in the mail. But anyways, I won’t bore you too much with the details of my trip, although this blog seems to be the way my family and friends keep up with what I’m doing. I guess that’s what I get for telling my life’s little adventures online.

On Saturday, we were set to go to this dinosaur museum which claims to be one of the biggest in the world. We didn’t go in though because a.) it was a Saturday and there were lots of kids and b.) it was $10 to get in and c.) basically the whole area was a tourist trap of sorts (this coming from Shane who suggested going to the dinosaur museum in the first place). We went to the Bingham Copper Mines instead, which was cool to see. Then we had to get back to get ready for the wedding at Sundance.

The wedding was supposed to be on the deck, but about half-hour before the ceremony, it started to rain. It would let up a little, and the sun was shining, but then it started pouring. Fortunately there was a break in the rain a little after 6 p.m., so it was quick, dry off the chairs and assemble the guests. It was a nice wedding, short and sweet and just very casual, like the couple.
