| | Taken abackAugust 3, 2009 - Karin EltonLast night my daughter Cheyenne noticed her pajama bottoms were on backward — the tag was in the front. That reminded her of when she and her sister went to daycamp at Camden State Park when they were in the third grade or so. Before the camp started, their dad had told her sister Vanessa to look after Cheyenne. (Cheyenne said last night, “I don’t know why he told Vanessa to look after me — I’m older!) The kids changed into their swimsuits at the end of the day and Cheyenne had put her one-piece on backward. The front was high up around the neck and the scoop-necked front was in the back. An older girl said to Cheyenne, “Your bathing suit is on backward.” Vanessa ran up to the older girl and said, “Your bathing suit is on backward!” The older girl’s friend said to them, “She was just trying to be nice.” Well, she had been told to watch her sister’s back, even if the front of her swimming suit was on it.
