Wayyy too young

Horrors! I just prepared something horrible (to me) for publication in the Independent. It’s a notice saying parents of current eighth grade students should attend a driver education information meeting at the middle school in January.

This is horrible because I am the parent of TWO eighth grade students! No way are they ready for driver’s ed. These are the two that just knocked each other into a rack of DVDs last night at Family Video and half a section of videos fell down like dominos. And do I have almost 600 bucks for the classes?

Mama’s going to have to put the brakes on this and draw the process out until they are at least 18.
