You gotta love a good scandal...especially when it’s on a dating reality show. Last night it was revealed on “The Bachelor” that Rozlyn, one of the women vying for pilot Jake’s affection, was involved in an “inappropriate” relationship with one of the show’s staff members. What exactly constitutes an “inappropriate” relationship? Was it physical, emotional, what? Basically, Jake figures the two had an affair. Rozlyn has been denying a physical affair on the tabloid news shows. She had the quote of the night with “my personal life is nobody’s business.” You’re on national television show — on dating — along with 24 (well on that night, 14 other women, after one guy). Hate to say Roz is that your “personal life” has become blog, television and other Web sources fodder.
I keep watching this show season after season, with the exception of a couple or three, wondering how these women, and sometimes men (for the Bachelorette) can say they’ve fallen in love in just a few scant days or weeks? It takes time, nuturing to develop any form of relationship. But I hate to admit, the desparation, the cat fights and the randomness of the show makes for amusing entertainment.
