MARSHALL— The Warriors are a new opponent for the Tigers. Henry Sibley is coming off an opening game loss to Simley high school. However, coach Terry Bahlmann isn’t taking anything for granted against a team that made it to the 5A state tournament last year. “We need to establish the run game and be physical up front,” he said. The Tigers are are coming off a rain-shortened game against Blue Earth last week that showcased their talent on both sides of the ball. Bahlmann noted a number of things that he wanted to see his team improve on from last week’s game. “We want to improve our offensive line play. We were able to make some big plays, but we need to stay on blocks,” he said before his team’s practice on Thursday afternoon. The Tigers’ defense was able to limit Blue Earth to only one touchdown. “We did a nice job last week and we want to continue to build on that. They have a fresh quarterback. We want to give him some different looks and make him hesitate,” said Bahlmann. Kickoff is at 7:00 p.m.
