YMC approves roof replacement for county building

YMC purchased the Fagen building and did not know the condition of the building? What? Hah? Are you kidding?

Another prime example of my/our local government not taking responsibility for the tax payers' money.

Personally I'd patch the roof until the Commissioners can figure out what areas of the county budget they can cut to pay for this.

But in the end we all know who will pay for this problem. You've got it, me and my fellow YMC property owners will because nothing will be cut to pay for this un-budgeted repair.

Wake up YMC and start running the county like a business (and do your due diligence on property acquisitions)!

Maybe some of the blame should fall on our previous administrator who bailed before he could finish what he started!! I agree that there should have been an inspection prior to purchase negotiations but its to late to start over now.
