Good thing Phil has a neighbor who is an expert on the sexual behavior of all animals. Wait...just cows?

Next time a dog humps Phils leg I hope he is inspired to write another dissertation about the similarities of homo sapiens to the rest of the animal kingdom.

Whether or not Phil is eviscerated may well depend on how far he strays from his church. Maybe he isn't conservative enough? Personally, I think he is neither educated or moral enough to offer any public opinion, this was mere advertisement for a website and he might as well be supporting prostitution.

The "only" word that comes to mind.. homophobic... The reason many are for same sex marriage is because of "equal treatment". Regardless of domestic violence, suicide rates, etc, we have no right to deny "any person" equal rights. "ALL PEOPLE ARE CREATED EQUAL..." The fact you are trying to rally the troops against homosexuality is no better than McCarthy trying to condemn people because of their political beliefs...

The fact that a "partner" cannot make medical decisions on behalf of their loved one denies equal and fair treatment to those hospitalized, but because partners are not recognized as family they cannot inform a hospital of life saving preferences...

Tolerance and teaching tolerance is is far from a bad thing. I have never known a gay man to force himself on others so... relax, "your" sexuality is safe... now do the same for all people... let "them" choose. You want to take the rights away from

People who have had trouble making up their minds about gay marriage should read this letter closely. Nothing the supporters of gay marriage could say would do more to support their cause.

Wait, what? Cows are at best only bisexual?!? What a stunning revelation about human relationships. Too bad you really can’t base human behavior on observations of bovine behavior. Of course, if you insist, we can, but I’m afraid you’d have to throw out traditional marriage altogether, because cows don’t believe in monogamy, either. Thank you Phil for demonstrating that “moral majority” is not a synonym for “educated majority”.

Same-sex marriage is a difficult topic to address in an age of sensitivity. Nevertheless, I approach the topic with a suggestion that marriage and the family is not what it was 20 years ago; it has transformed, and will continue to do so. Marriage should be redefined into a different category altogether. This is evident with the movement to establish same-sex marriage in Minnesota. As a relationship, same-sex marriage is inferior to the traditional institution. Why is that? Well, it can't foster procreation and the physical biology isn't exactly nested well. I'm not suggesting these folks can't have a loving relationship, but I would suggest that it needs to be put in its proper perspective. I would also suggest that other inferior relationships should have equal standing, like for instance bigamy. I'm not in a position to judge those relationships. They seem to do quite well at raising kids.

Phil - you are entirely correct in the contents of your letter.

Forced acceptance of something you disagree with, especially when it involves grade school kids, is not acceptable in this society.

As for the gay folks, it was not that long ago you were just asking for civil unions. The ink is barely dry on those agreements and you are already asking for more.

Shutting down Catholic adoption service for political correctness was never the right thing to do. If the need is so great for homosexual adoptions, then someone would have gone into the business and made lots of money.

I'm not aware of any legislation or common practices whereby gays are assigned to sit in specific spots on a bus.

If anything has left society "spiritually disoriented" it is the falseness of religion. The drooling fools affinities for "meaning" and "purpose" and performing ridiculous acts for some imaginary, egomaniacal deity has depleted the human spirit for centuries.

FYI for the author of this "letter" (if you can call this kind of dribble a letter), name one other species in nature that does get married. Literally "married" with an official ceremony before god. Please, anyone, name ONE.

I think he will when you name one other species that posts comments on the internet.

Although if Minnesota changes the definition of marriage away from one man and one woman, most likely we will see people marrying other species. My single neighbor, for example, plans to marry his dog, whom he loves, and thereby qualify for a married, filing jointly tax status.

Wasn't this written by the same guy, who just a few years ago, tried to pawn off some garbage 'science' to purport that the universe really does revolve around the Earth like the once-flat-earther-now-strict-dogma-willfully-ignorant sect 'believes'?

First off, one must again put the Constitution first (the legal governance document).

Second - is this guy the MN branch of the Westboro Church?

Third - The Oracle of Del(p)hi has a history of being mind-numbingly incorrect, so you republicans should feel comfortable riding his coat tails.
