Pain street

One pass on East Main Street in Marshall is all one needs to realize how rough of a stretch it has become. The good news is, MnDOT plans on addressing the pothole plight this week, weather permitting.

MnDot...bunch of excuses. If roads like this existed in the metro area, they'd be repaired overnight, or totally replaced. As for Mr. Olson and our local streets. Maybe he should get out of the office a little more and drive down some of our residential streets. Even in new developments, the streets are terrible and in the worst shape they've ever been. I ride my bicycle all over town and see first hand how bad most are. Oh, that's right, we're more concerned about building bridges to no where!

“some of the streets with pothole problems are out of the city's jurisdiction” - Translation: We refuse to be responsible for Marshall streets if we have any sorry excuse whatsoever.

The bottom line is that MNDOT should have had these potholes repaired long ago. I've been driving around the potholes on Main Street for months and months.

Watch all the cars swerving around the potholes and tell me this isn't a big safety issue.

Come on MNDOT, you can do better!
