$60,000 isn't really entry level....it is enough to get fresh college grads with master's degrees to apply and waste the city's time when they quit in 2 years tops. Master's always impressive but really, why would a person with a masters stay in Tracy? O the allure of a flashy degree

Soooo....SELyonCo will we be seeing your name on the ballot next year...seeings how you are very quick to claim that the current council and mayor are "unqualified" certainly you must be much more quailified, and explain to me how $60,000 is "entry level" especially for a town the size of Tracy....

That's because the council is only willing to pay entry level wages to an administrator. This is what happens when you elect unqualified people. Contrary to the opinion of Tracy's mayor, good government is more than just refusing to spend money.

For the Council....You wonder why you continually have to hire new administrators...stop hiring people who are only staying short term....such as this quote: "Votca told council members that his long-term goals include spending enough time in a community like Tracy to become proficient in the skills needed to be an administrator." Guess what council...you'll train this one and he will leave in less than 2 years too!
