I tell my own kids about riding my bike to Lenny's and getting a pop and Lenny calling me and my sister "boys". Two of our brothers worked at the station and we were the tail end girls in a family. Many years later when I moved back to Marshall I knew where to go when I had car trouble. It was a good feeling knowing you'd be taken care of - Thanks Len, Brian, Jeff and Marj. Enjoy your retirement! One of the boys! Ann Doyscher Domres

(Continuing from previous comment) When my dad arrived, he gave my dad an earful. After that day u always LOVED to walk by that gas station. Len always had a smile & a wave for me and a stern look for my brother. Len is the one of the few people (including Miss Lucile at west side) who told my brother what he was doing was wrong. As I type I have tears in my eyes because the kindness displayed by Len. Thank You Len, you have a special place in my heart!
