Editor's column: Kids going public with their antics … not pretty

Our kids, for the most part, are good people. They help out in the community. They strive for excellence on the field or court, or on stage. They respect their elders....

Very good article and time to deal with "social media". We have it in the comments of the Marshall Independent online. I have sometims regretted comments I've made. Then there are some who continually make fools of themselves almost like they enjoy it. Our kids have to learn somewhere, it's time us parents kept parenting. Right on through whatever age our kids still need it. And that age is at least 18, sometimes 21 or more. Don't blame others or give up, the responsibility for proper social media etiquette falls on the parents. Claiming ignorance is no excuse.
