Maybe the Independent could show the way.

I may be wrong but I haven't seen this paper contributing to the cancer fund.

rangeral...maybe the Independent has contributed. If I remember right, I did see their name on one of the flyers that was in the paper last month. Maybe you should give Marty a call and ask. Plus, what does that have to do with the changing of the guard at TSFC?

It was the tone of the editorial - and the suggestion that the company do a lot more for the community.

I admit I did not see a listing for the Independent in the list of contributors.

I also think it is incumbent upon the area TSFC employees to show the work ethic and business savvy that helped fuel growth in the past. I'm not saying they aren't - but a concerted effort to raise the bar while the Board is searching for a new candidate and once he/she is hired, will no doubt show this new CEO that there is a surplus of motivated and talented people in Marshall & SWMN that can help move the company forward and that it would be prudent to reestablish Marshall as the headquarters for the company! CEOs/Boards don't make choices like this based on letters in the newspaper like this one - they do it based on anticipated financial results. Time for everyone in the area - especially those currently employed by TSFC in Marshall - to step up their game to remind the Board and new CEO of the talent and desire in our region!
