Don't spend it if you don't have it.

If there is something really worthwhile, then find a current program that is inefficient or duplicates other programs and cut them. You would have no problem coming up with the funding.

I'm assuming, Al, that you paid cash for your house (assuming you own your home), because if you financed it you violated your own doctrine.

The human body is pretty inefficient at converting food to energy, so I'm sure you've stopped eating, right? After all, you could replace all that inefficient food shopping, preparation, eating, and digesting with a highly efficient IV drip of essential nutrients.

As per usual your trite, conservative sound bites lack any useful substance. If there is some much waste and duplication in state programs then why haven't your GOP buddies presented the evidence to their colleagues?

How does your plan repair our state infrastructure, educate our kids, and attract investment in MN?

SEL - you are a "I want it all and I want it now" type of person, especially if the taxpayers are paying for it.

When the GOP is back in power I will have the same convictions and I will ask them the same questions I am asking the DFL today.

IN the meantime, your party is in control, so they have to answer the questions and do what is right.

For your information an IV will not work for nutrition - it has to be a stomach tube.
