Use some common sense. Is there that much of a threat present to justify the hundreds of thousands of dollars per year, or would that money get used in some other way?

Had you read my post, you'd know I was referring to who wouldn't be cut, and that'd be administration, as always. Why are things so complicated for you?

Spin is used appropriately as well, because nobody really knows how much money would (will) be spent on technology versus safety. Go ahead and quote all the numbers you want from the article, just be sure to use the word proposed along with them.

You seem to have inside info farmkid...so what's getting cut?

Evidently some individuals are confused about the concept of "spin". Spin is a form of propaganda and often describes tactics which are deceptive and manipulative. Supporters of the referendum and school administrators were open and honest in their appeal for improving the safety and technology available for students as was the referendum itself.

When those cuts come down the line, the quote from administration will be along the lines "due to voter response, we are are unfortunately forced to make these cuts."

Try reading the article. They certainly will proceed with the safety issues, if there truly are any. The only difference now is staff and classes will be cut to make ends meet. Bet you can guess who/what won't be cut.

Westline, apparently your grammar teacher didn't have the magic answer, either. All I can say is that if one of our schools,God forbid, ever faces a dangerous intruder, I better not hear a naysayer hollering out "could have" "should have" comments!

I am impressed the voters in this town finally seen through the spin and defeated a new tax. Now can we go back and undo another one?
