It's only "incessant" if you have a bad attitude about it. Think of it as the sound of the holiday season. Santa's sleigh has bells too...

Don't get me wrong hartman. I don't mind giving the money. It's just that I can't stand the sound of that incessant bell ringing everywhere that I go.

Don't be such a scrooge blasphemer. The Salvation Army is a blessing for many individuals and families throughout the year, not just during the time of Christmas. I guarantee that if you greet each person manning the kettle with a smile and contribute what you can at each opportunity, you'll feel a whole lot less annoyed. It also helps to keep in mind, it could be you the Salvation Army provides aid to next.
