Pirate, how about the ones who become criminals after they bear arms, or know easy targets to steal arms from? You need to earn a license to drive a car. Why? A gun can be handed to you. Why? Pirate, do you really want every citizen to have the right to buy a gun? Do you know how many people try to skirt the law by having an associate buy the gun? Everyone should have to pass some sort of exam.

common - ask and you shall receive. All of your bad guys mentioned are covered. Either/and/or crimes while in possession of a gun or simply felon in possession will get you significant time if you can keep them away from liberal activist judges and prosecutors who plead them out rather than put them away. Your biggest mistake is saying criminals have the right to bear arms. They don't. But law abiding citizens do, which has been affirmed many times.

Ask Marty about that. I'm bettin' he says prosecute 'em.

Very good article. It is a pleasure to see home-grown leaders take an active involvement in engaging in the political process. The difference between Marty and the pundit is that Marty seeks to change the system rather than gripe about it.

It's Marty's way of trying to get the gun right's votes. Nothing more, nothing less. Come out on the street Marty, do battle with the drug dealers, felons, lifetime criminals who all deserve the right to bear arms based purely on being in the USA. I am a law abiding, gun toting citizen who believes we need gun control.

As opposed to what you do to relax?

To be honest, I don't know why his personal time is newsworthy, and he probably shouldn't have commented on it.
