I applaud Ms. Altain's letters. I am familiar with Mr. Ranum and other -- similar -- library directors in this state. The abuses, bigotry, narcissism, and tunnel-vision of these egomaniacs is beyond belief. And our tax dollars support this...

I like strong management but Mr. Ranum is way overboard. Sounds like he may need a week off without pay to reconsider some of his policies.

It appears Mr. Ranum should be made aware he is replaceable. He works for the public and seems to forget that fact. There is entirely to many people in gov positions that have developed a "big head" and should be reminded they are there to serve the people not the other way around.
