ROSEVILLE, Minn. (AP) — It didn't take long for police to catch up with a bank robbery suspect in Roseville. In fact, it took just 12 minutes.
Surveillance video from the North American Bank Co. shows a suspect holding up an employee about 11 a.m. Tuesday. The man got away with an undisclosed amount of money. Police say officers responding to the bank robbery spotted a man fitting the description of the suspect slamming the trunk of a car parked about 600 feet away.
Dash cam video obtained by WCCO-TV (http://cbsloc.al/1aHfP4i ) shows officers, with weapons drawn, closing in on the suspect in what likely seems to be record time.
Police say the man was wearing a bullet proof vest and confessed to the robbery.
