DAVIE, Fla. (AP) — Sidelined by an illness, Miami Dolphins center Mike Pouncey says he watched Sunday's game from his couch with suspended teammate Richie Incognito.
Pouncey says Incognito is in good spirits, missing football and eager to rejoin the Dolphins. Pouncey says they laughed about how strange it was to watch the team play on TV.
Pouncey says he's feeling much better after spending three nights in the hospital with a gall bladder ailment, and he hopes to play Sunday against Carolina after rejoining the Dolphins on Wednesday.
Pouncey says he was interviewed about the Dolphins' bullying scandal Wednesday by NFL special investigator Ted Wells, who is looking into allegations that tackle Jonathan Martin was harassed daily by teammates, including Incognito.
