On Tuesday, I was asked by Bob and Chet Lockwood to talk with the Lockwood Motors staff during their annual retreat and staff appreciation day. It was a wonderful night filled with laughter and great camaraderie. I was asked to share my experiences in developing a team environment and the various types of leadership styles that I have found most effective in my professional career. I want to say thank you to the entire staff for welcoming me into your family and allowing me to share my thoughts and experiences with you.
Also, congratulations to Bob Lockwood on being nominated by Time Magazine for "Quality Dealer of the Year", one of fifty in the United States. This is a great honor in the auto industry and the entire staff at Lockwood Motors should feel proud to have achieved such a prestigious honor.
