MARSHALL - Services for Gilma Christine Syverson, 103, of Marshall, formerly of Willmar, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at First Lutheran Church in Marshall. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. with a 6:30 p.m. prayer service Thursday at the Hamilton Funeral Home. Burial will be in Long Lake Cemetery near St James.
She was born March 24, 1906, to Ingevold and Serena (Juvurd) Oppegard in Rice County.
She died Friday, Feb. 5, 2010, the Prairie Home Hospice House in Marshall.
Survivors include her children: JoEllen Blomme of Marshall, Kent of East Dubuque, Ill., Gene of Detroit, Mich. and Karen McDaniels of Annadale, Va.; 25 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and 18 great-great-grandchildren.
