Onyeaghala receives scholarship

Southwest Minnesota State University announces that Guillaume Onyeaghala, son of Raphael Onyeaghala of Marshall, has been selected to receive a Science, Mathematics and Computer Science Scholarships for the 2010-2011 academic year

His planned major field of study is biology and chemistry.

Singh receives scholarship

Southwest Minnesota State University announces that Sunil Singh has been selected to receive the Science, Mathematics and Computer Science Scholarship for the 2010-2011 academic year.

Singh's planned major fields of study is computer science.

Berglind receives scholarship

Southwest Minnesota State University announces that Katie

Berglind, daughter of Ann Berglind of Marshall, has been selected to receive a Mortier Family Scholarships for the 2010-2011 academic year. Recipients of these scholarships are recognized for their academic

accomplishments and outstanding leadership abilities.

Her planned major field of study is biology and pre-pharmacy.

Meyer member of College Democrats Club

Christopher Meyer, a junior social work major from Marshall, is a member of the College Democrats Club for the 2009-2010 academic year.

Wiering member of the Colleges Against Cancer Club

Jessica Wiering, a sophomore from Tyler, is a member of the Colleges Against Cancer Club for the 2009-2010 academic year.

The Colleges Against Cancer Club is a national collaboration of college students, faculty and staff dedicated to fighting cancer and volunteering for the American Cancer Society.
