Haas, Swoboda
MARSHALL - Laura Haas and Chris Swoboda announce their engagement. Parents of the couple are Loran and Patti Haas of Canby, Gayle Swoboda of Sartell and Doug and Brenda Swoboda of Marshall. Haas is a graduate of Canby High School and the University of Minnesota, Morris. She is employed at US Bank in Marshall. Swoboda is a graduate of Marshall High School and Minnesota West, Canby and is employed by Willmar Electric. They are both members of the Minnesota National Guard. A July 31, 2010, wedding is planned at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Canby.
