WAHPETON, N.D. - Heather Giefer and Jan Willem Streicher were married June 3, 2008, in Wahpeton, N.D. Parents of the couple are Leslie Giefer of Garvin, Robin Giefer of Balaton and Johannes and Johlene Streicher of Riversdale, South Africa. They are celebrating the blessing of their marriage on July 17, 2010, at Sillerud Lutheran Church in Balaton with a reception at Ramada Marshall. Giefer is a 1999 graduate of Balaton High School and a 2003 graduate of South Central Technical College of North Mankato. She is employed with Wells Fargo Financial as a Nowline Home Preservation Specialist. Streicher is a 1999 graduate of PW Botha College in George, South Africa. He is employed at Lacey's Farmacy in Salem, S.D., as a custom applicator. The couple lives in Sioux Falls, S.D.
