Calvary Baptist to celebrate 30 years
Calvary Baptist Church of Marshall is celebrating 30 years of being a church in the Marshall community. The dates of the celebration are Aug. 20, 21 and 22.
There will be an ice cream social at 7 p.m. Friday at the church's location at 500 S. Saratoga.
There will be a picnic at noon Saturday, Aug. 21, at Justice Park in Marshall with food, fellowship and games for the kids.
A celebration service will be from 9-11 a.m. Sunday, Aug. Former pastors of CBC will share.
The service will be followed by a catered meal in the fellowship hall (freewill donation). The only event that requires a reservation is the catered meal on Sunday. To make reservations or for more information, call the church office at 532-3414.
Good Shepherd services to changed Aug. 23
Services at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Marshall will now be from 8:15-11 a.m. starting Sunday, Aug. 23. Coffee fellowship is from 9:15-9:45 a.m. and education hour is from 9:45-10:45 a.m.
