Living Word to have open house Sunday
Living Word Lutheran Church in Marshall announces that Pastor David Christensen and Pastor Kelly Wasberg have accepted calls to be co-pastors. An open house will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday after Rally Sunday services in the Tiger Office Park at 408 E. Main St. in Marshall. This is an occasion to thank the residents of Marshall and the surrounding communities for the support Living Word has received. This is also an opportunity to meet Pastor Kelly and Pastor Dave, and tour our facilities.
St. Stephen Lutheran celebrates Rally Day
Rally Day is Sunday, at St. Stephen Lutheran Church.The congregation will worship and celebrate Holy Communion at 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Sunday School is at 9:35 a.m. A Rally Day meal of hamburgers and hotdogs along with fellowship and carnival games follows the second worship service. All are welcome to come and celebrate God's presence at St. Stephen Lutheran.
CDA to meet Monday in Carlin Hall
"How Do I Fit In?" will be a topic for discussion as the Catholic Daughters of the Americas host a reception of new members at the 5:30 p.m. Monday. Mass at Holy Redeemer in Marshall. A potluck meal will follow in Carlin Hall. A business meeting will follow at 7 p.m.
