Hello Mustang Fans!

Last weekend, the campus of SMSU was at capacity with Marshall High School (MHS) and SMSU activities. SMSU kicked off the activities with the 2010 Smokefest in the R/A Facility parking lot as teams began arriving early Friday morning and continued up to the Cook's Meeting beginning at 5 p.m. MHS hosted a Tiger football game at the Regional Event Center (REC) on Friday evening with the Mustang Trail Street Dance following the game as part of the Smokefest schedule of events.

Saturday started with the Mustang Stampede Walk/5K Run and the Wellness and Health Expo in the Regional Event Center. The Pursuit of Excellence clinicals also began Saturday morning and continued throughout the day. The Smokefest judging began at noon, along with Mustang soccer in the REC. Mustang volleyball kicked off at 3 p.m. and the day concluded with Mustang football and the Pursuit of Excellence field competition held on opposite ends of campus. Thank goodness for good weather.
