Fall fellowship fair Oct. 10 at Christ Lutheran

Christ Lutheran Church in Cottonwood will have a fall fellowship fair from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 10, at the church. The beef dinner includes mashed potatoes, carrots, coleslaw, cranberry relish and pie. Suggested donation is $8 for adults, $4 for 12 and younger and $2 for preschoolers. Delivery will be available by calling 423-5118. Fair activities include a country store and sweet shop.

St. Genevieve's parish festival Sunday in Lake Benton

St. Genevieve's parish festival is from 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Sunday at the American Legion Hall in Lake Benton. The chicken dinner includes potatoes and gravy and pie. The cost for adults is $8, ages 5-12 and younger than 5 is $2. For meals on wheels call, 507-368-4839 (Ardith), 50-247-3464 (parish office) or 50-368-9387 (Lake Benton American Legion). In addition a country store, games, live and silent auction, including a pie and quilt auction, will take place.

Pet blessing Sunday at CRC

The Little Portion Secular Franciscans of the Marshall area are sponsoring a blessing of the animals at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the parking lot of the Campus Religious Center at Southwest Minnesota State University. The public is invited to bring their leashed or caged pets and join in the celebration. Refreshments will be served. The event is in observance of St. Francis of Assisi Feast Day.

Fall supper Oct. 9 at Rock Valle

Rock Valle Lutheran Church invites the public to attend its annual fall supper from 4-7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 9. The church is six miles north of Echo on Highway 67. The menu includes meatballs, mashed potatoes and gravy, glazed carrots, pie and lefse. Adults are $8, students are $4 and children younger than 4 may eat for free.

Fire on the Prairie tonight in Clarkfield

Northfield revivalists, Steve and Rebecca Roberts, will be the guest ministers at Fire on the Prairie in Clarkfield today. Service begins at 7:30 p.m. with praise and worship. No child care is provided. All are welcome. Free will offering will be received. Meetings are at the Clarkfield City Hall Community Meeting Room.
