Avera Marshall buys PBR Optical in Springfield
Avera Marshall has purchased PBR Optical's Springfield location. This new ownership means a continued presence from optometrists and ophthalmologists in Springfield. Avera Marshall acquired Springfield's Southwest Ophthalmology clinic in October 1988, previously owned by Dr. Ted and Chris Fritsche.
The two businesses are now one, called Avera Medical Group Optometry Springfield. Phone numbers and staff at the location will remain the same.
Springfield is Avera Marshall's fourth acquisition of an eye clinic in the region and represents the commitment to continuing to provide care for people close to their home. Optometrists and ophthalmologists from the Avera Marshall network of care will provide services at the clinic, with all types of care ranging from routine eye exams to managing complex eye diseases.
