LYON COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

LYON COUNTY GOVERNMENT CENTER, MARSHALL, MN

January 18, 2011

9:00- Meeting was called to order by Chairman Fenske. Members present: Stensrud, Fenske, Ritter, Goodenow, Anderson, County Administrator Stomberg, Attorney Maes, County Auditor/Treasurer Van Overbeke.

Goodenow moved, seconded by Ritter to approve the agenda. All voted in favor.

No conflicts of interest were identified

Consent Agenda:

1. Approve Minutes from January 4, 2011

2. Approve Commissioner Warrants 123444-123543 in the amount of $157,776.09 dated 1/19/11.

3. Approve Auditor Warrants 123380-123399 in the amount of $1,915,413.91 dated 1/6/11, 123400-123432 in the amount of $396,904.81 dated 1/13/11, and 123433-123443 in the amount of $139,057.87 dated 1/14/11.

4. Approve Per Diems & Expenses

5. Amend the 2011 Budget

6. Cottonwood Country Club on Sale Liquor License / Sunday License

Ritter moved, seconded by Goodenow to approve the consent agenda. All voted in favor.

Goodenow moved, seconded by Anderson to approve entering into and authorize the Chair to sign a subordination agreement with Mortgage Capital of Minnesota on a note and septic system lien owned by Lyon County in the amount of $6,564.07. All voted in favor.

Stensrud moved, seconded by Ritter to approve entering into and authorize the Chair to sign a subordination agreement with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage on a note and septic system lien owned by Lyon County in the amount of $14,500. All voted in favor.

Goodenow moved, seconded by Ritter to accept the West Central Environmental Consultants bid for $6802 and authorize the Chair to sign. All voted in favor.

Goodenow moved, seconded by Anderson to approve the report and authorize the Chair to sign. All voted in favor.

Goodenow moved, seconded by Stensrud to approve the sale of 1,400 square feet from the Lyon County Wetland Credits to East River Electric Power Cooperative, Inc. Ritter You referred to Lincoln County? Henriksen This will take place in Lincoln County. All voted in favor.

Fenske set a special meeting for Tuesday January 25, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. to appoint members to the Joint Drainage Authority.

Stensrud moved, seconded by Goodenow to approve and authorize the Chair to sign a jail food service contract with A'viands. Fenske How many do we have in there today? Mather About 50. That would be two colds and a hot. Ritter With these other counties that are bringing here are there per diems going to go up to then? Mather Right now we only have four prisoners from Murray County. When we renew their contract we will look at it. All voted in favor.
