Fischer receives scholarship

Southwest Minnesota State University announces that Craig Fischer, the son of Mark and Beth Fischer of Ghent has been accepted to attend SMSU and has also been selected to receive an SMSU President's Award, a Mustang Award and an SMSU Scholarship for the 2011-2012 academic year. Recipients of these scholarships are recognized for their academic accomplishments and outstanding leadership abilities.

His planned major field of study is elementary education.

Tate receives SMSU scholarship

Southwest Minnesota State University announces that Amanda Tate, daughter of Jim and Mary Tate of Marshall, has been selected to receive a SMSU President's

Award, a Mustang Award and a SMSU Leadership Scholarship for the 2011-2012 academic year. Recipients of these scholarships are recognized for their academic accomplishments and outstanding leadership abilities.
