2011 Avera Marshall Auxiliary Scholarships available
The Avera Marshall Auxiliary announces the Taylor Family Junior Volunteer Scholarship of $1,000 and two additional scholarships of $1,000 each. The application forms can be found in area high schools counselors' offices. These scholarships are for students planning to pursue a career in the health care field. Applications must be returned by May 2. Scholarships will be awarded at the Auxiliary's monthly general meeting on Monday, May 16, in the dining room at Hill Street Place.
American Legion Auxiliary offers scholarship
A scholarship in the amount of $500 will be awarded to a senior daughter or granddaughter of a veteran, Legion member or Auxiliary member (Marshall units).
The scholarship may be used at a college, university or vocational school.
Applications can be obtained at Marshall High School guidance office. The deadline is April 26.
