To the editor:
See what I mean by suggesting that there should be a test for politicians.
Now we've learned from one of them that the shot heard around the world when the American colonies formed a union to fight the bully British actually was fired at Concord, New Hampshire and not Concord, Massachusetts.
Maybe next we'll hear that the Pilgrims landed in Plymouth, Minnesota, and who really knows where the Boston Tea Party actually took place?
Every day the No Child Left Behind tests sound like a better idea for politicians than requiring 100 percent of public school kids to pass them.
