Vandendriessche on NDSU dean's list

Eric J. Vandendriessche, Marshall, was among the 2,985 North Dakota State University students to be placed on the fall 2010 dean's list. He is majoring in accounting. A student must earn a 3.50 grade point average or higher and be enrolled in at least 12 class credits to qualify.

Pekar to tour with Northwestern band

Beth Pekar of Ghent, a senior mathematics major, is a member of the Northwestern College Symphonic Band, which is touring Idaho and Washington during the college's spring break March 6-13. Pekar plays the horn.

Stevermer attends regional theater festival

University of Minnesota, Morris theater students, including Kari Stevermer, of Marshall, and Ray Schultz, associate professor of theater, attended the Region Five Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival (KCACTF). Morris actors were chosen to participate in the festival's Costume Parade, one of only a dozen productions in Region Five-Minnesota, South Dakota, North Dakota, Iowa, Kansas, Iowa, and Nebraska-to be invited. The students modeled costumes from As You Like It, a "environmentally friendly" production featuring costumes made from recycled and repurposed materials.
