Johnson participates in Northwesternmusic tour
Northwestern College in St. Paul announces that Nathaniel W. Johnson, the son of Wesley and Pam Johnson of Marshall, will be participating in the Varsity Men's Chorus Men in Music Tour. Tour dates and locations are as follows: Thursday, April 7, in St. Paul; Friday, April 8, in Red Wing; Friday, April 8, in Rochester; Saturday, April 9, and Sunday, April 10, in Stewartville; Tuesday, April 12, in St. Paul.
Johnson is a sophomore pursuing a degree in ministry. He is a 2009 graduate of Staples Motley High School.
Scamper for Scholars fundraiser April 16 at Minnesota West
The Minnesota West Foundation is having its first Scamper for Scholars 5K run and 1K kids run and walk April 16. The event will raise funds to support the students and programs on all campus and centers at Minnesota West Community and Technical College. The Scamper for Scholars will begin and end on the Worthington Campus of Minnesota West and begins at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 16. Entry fees are $25 if registering before April 8 and $30 after April 8 and registration on the day of the event. All runners/walkers will receive a T-shirt, and there will be prizes for the top male and female runners.
