ORDINANCE NUMBER 635, SECOND SERIES
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 78 OF THE MARSHALL CODE OF ORDINANCES RELATING TO SUMP PUMP INSPECTIONS
The Common Council of the City of Marshall does ordain as follows:
Section 78-73. The following section is amended as follows:
The city engineer and other duly authorized employees of the city, bearing proper credentials and identification, shall be permitted to enter all properties for the purpose of inspection, observation, measurement, sampling and testing pertinent to discharge into the sanitary sewer system in accordance with the provisions of this section. In lieu of having the City inspect such property, the property owner may, at the property owner's expense, furnish a certificate from a licensed plumber in a form acceptable to the City, within 15 days of receiving notice from the City certifying that the property is in compliance.
