Dorman receives scholarship

Nick Dorman, the son of Rich and JoAnn Dorman of Marshall, has been selected to receive a Forensics Scholarship for the 2011-2012 academic year.

His planned major fields of study are chemistry and biology.

Nwaozuru receives scholarship

Southwest Minnesota State University announces that Ucheoma Nwaozuru, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.S. Nwaozuru of Marshall, has been selected to receive an International Student Success Scholarship for the 2011-2012 academic year. Recipients of these scholarships are recognized for their academic accomplishments and outstanding leadership abilities.

Her planned major field of study is chemistry.

Gau receives scholarship

Southwest Minnesota State University announces that Suzannah Gau, the daughter of David and Jean Gau of Marshall, has been selected to receive a Mellenthin Student Scholarship for the 2011-2012 academic year. Recipients of these scholarships are recognized for their academic accomplishments and outstanding leadership abilities.

Her planned major field of study is studio arts.

Johnson receives scholarship

Southwest Minnesota State University announces that Caitlyn Johnson, the daughter of Randy and Jackie Johnson of Marshall, has been selected to receive a Mellenthin Student Scholarship for the 2011-2012 academic year. Recipients of these scholarships are recognized for their academic accomplishments and outstanding leadership abilities.

Her planned major fields of study are mathematics and chemistry.

Maurice graduates with honors

Carol Maurice of Renville graduated Magna Cum Laude May 7 from Southwest Minnesota State University with a bachelor of science degree in management.

Budhathoki receives scholarship

Southwest Minnesota State University announced that Bipin Budhathoki, son of Prem Kumar Budhathoki and Nirmala Budhathoki of Kathmadnu, Nepal, has been selected to receive a Emerging Student Scholarship for the 2011-2012 academic year. Recipients of these scholarships are recognized for their academic accomplishments and outstanding leadership abilities.

His planned major field of study is computer science.

Pfannschmidt receives scholarship

Southwest Minnesota State University announces that Joseph Pfannschmidt of Lynd has been selected to receive the University Gala Scholarship for the 2011-2012 academic year. Recipients of this scholarship are recognized for their academic accomplishments and outstanding leadership abilities.

Pfannschmidt's planned major field of study is music.

Condelli receives scholarship

Southwest Minnesota State University announces that Justin Condelli, the son of John and Joann Condelli of Balaton, has been selected to receive the University Gala Scholarship for the 2011-2012 academic year.
