Gustavus Adolphus announces 2011 spring dean's list

The spring semester dean's list at Gustavus Adolphus College has been released. The list comprises students who have earned a 3.7 grade point average (based on a scale in which 4.0 = A) or higher for the semester ending in May 2011.

The following local students were named to the dean's list at Gustavus Adolphus College: Canby: Shanda Kirkeide; Cottonwood: Dana Boerboom, Taryn Rosa; Marshall: Alexander Gjorvad; Tracy: Maria Schmidt; Walnut Grove: Song Yang.

UMD announces dean's list for spring semester 2011

The University of Minnesota Duluth has announced its dean's list for spring semester 2011. Students on the dean's list have achieved a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

Area students named to MSU Moorhead dean's list

The following students have been named to the Minnesota State University Moorhead dean's list in recognition of academic achievement spring semester 2011. Students must maintain a 3.25 or higher grade point average and carry 12 graded credits to qualify for the honor.

Northwestern announces dean's list

The academic dean's list for the spring 2011 semester at Northwestern College includes Beth Pekar of Ghent, mathematics, collegiate scholar distinction (GPA 3.75 or above).

Van Leeuwe named to dean's list at St. Mary's

Amanda Van Leeuwe, the daughter of Joan and Daniel Van Leeuwe of Ghent, was named to the second semester, 2010-11 dean's list at St. Mary's University of Minnesota. The list includes 309 undergraduate students who earned a grade point average of 3.60 or better on a 4.0 scale.

SE Technical announces graduation list

The 2011 list of Minnesota State College-Southeast Technical, graduates are as follows: Milroy, David Schmidt**, associate in applied science degree, sales management, ** designates "high honors" GPA 3.75 - 4.0; Wood Lake, Courtney Jeseritz, diploma, practical nursing.

Commencement ceremonies took place May 11 at Winona State University, McCown Gymnasium.

SE Technical Red Wing announces graduation list

The 2011 list of Minnesota State College-Southeast Technical graduates includes

Marshall, Hannah Roseland*, diploma, jewelry manufacturing and repair,* designates "honors" GPA 3.5 - 3.74.

Commencement ceremonies took place May 12 at Red Wing High School.
