CANBY - Brent Merritt and Toni Christianson announce their engagement. Parents of the couple are Robert and Bonnie Merritt of Porter and Jerry and Bonnie Christianson of Canby. Merritt graduated from Canby High School in 1995. He works at Mortgage Capital of Minnesota. Christianson is a 2005 Canby High School graduate. She is a stay-at-home mom and also cares for one child. The couple plans a July 9, 2011, wedding in Canby at Our Saviors Lutheran Church.
