To the editor:
Thank you to the angels across the street who aided in the rescue of a beautiful box turtle early Saturday evening. The first angel was the pizza delivery person who herded the turtle from the middle of a busy road and I said I'd find help for it from that point.
I'm so glad there are caring animal people in our town! The sweet, very scared turtle, was safely relocated to the river area.
