Stamman at Fire on the Prairie tonight

Tom Stamman of Impact Ministries International will minister tonight at Fire on the Prairie. He will begin giving personal prophetic words individually to those who want one at about 6:30 p.m., and his message will begin at approximately 8:30 p.m. (depending on the length of praise and worship, which begin at 7 p.m.).

Fire on the Prairie meets at the Clarkfield City Hall Community Meeting Room, 904 10th Ave., in Clarkfield.

No admission charge, free will offering. Everyone is welcome. No childcare is provided.

Summer social Sunday in Balaton

A summer social is planned from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Sunday at the Balaton Community Center. The menu includes barbecues, assorted salads, pies and ice cream. The cost for adults is $6 and 12 and younger are $3. The event is sponsored by Balaton United Methodist Church.

Shetek day camp July 25-28

Shetek Lutheran Ministries is coming to Marshall July 25-28. Day Camp, a program offered by Shetek Lutheran Ministries of Slayton, is four days of Christian Day Camping for youth who are entering kindergarten through the completion of sixth grade. It is a joint venture this year by First Lutheran Church, St. Stephen Lutheran Church of Marshall and Shetek Lutheran Ministries.

This year's theme is "Heroes of Faith." Each day will be comprised of bible study, worship, games, arts and crafts, singing, natures studies and service projects.

Day camp will run from 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday at Freedom Park in Marshall (the corner of 4th Street and Thomas Avenue). A special program for parents will take place Thursday.
