To the editor:
Last week we visited Marshall after a too long absence and had the pleasure of visiting the Lyon County Museum and talking with Bev Kenyon, the curator.
This collection of memorabilia is a true treasure and really needs a better, larger space. The items are crowded, some of them have no home in the space, but are stored away from the site, and the staff is frustrated by the damage to the existing building which could further do harm to the collection.
We urge the city to preserve its fine history in a better location, more suited to its importance.
Lee and Elmer Reich,
